The cut of the sleeves is the important part. Women have boobs. Boobs require more fabric over the chest area. Which usually comes out of the region below the sleeve cap (due to the way the fabric pulls).

So a tight shirt in men's ripples badly on a woman, but a woman's cut shirt fits just nicely across the chest region.

For what it's worth, I'm both female, and a (non professional) seamstress, and alter ready made garments.

Also I'd like to dispel the myth that gamer women don't come in sizes larger than a 10. Large chested women (DD cups) easily go up to a size 14/16 in the US just due to the size of the chest, rather than any extra "fat". "Plus" sizes don't start in the US until size 18.

I'm a female too, and a Russian Cosmonaut. And a pirate.

If you don't believe me, you can either

a: Spend time with a dressmaker's dummy and do flat-draping, to see how the fabric pulls in that region,

or

b: pick up a copy of Palmer/Pletsch "Fit for Real People", which goes over the same concepts of adapting flat fabric to fit real dimensions.

I'm confused, most of the time I'm accused of being a fat ass with no life because I'm a girl gamer. I admit that I may not have a life as much as other people, but I'm not fat

Your argument is pointless, I'm afraid. The same people that post in here are the same ones that argue, accuse, and belittle in Preseering Ascalon, dist 1.

I haven't looked at the store, recently. Mind posting a screenie of the only fit-for-girls-except-for-the-size product?

We're talking about a shirt right? That's not the part of the body where you wear a shirt. At least, that's not the part of the body where I wear a shirt...

Tepp, I believe you. (For that matter, I was well aware of the whole boobs/cut-of-the-shirt thing coming into this thread.) And the sooner you learn to ignore people like Sha Noran, the happier you'll be.

I remember seeing a shirt offered in women's sizes. In a medium. That's all. It really needs to be offered in all sizes, not just medium. It's 100% cotton, which will probably shrink, so if you order a medium, it'll end up a small. I'm not buying that crap about preshrunk. That never works. I also thought the prices were way too high.

The Charr shirt is a great example. It has an awesome graphic along the bottom, and I want a size I can buy that isn't too long, so the graphic ends up all scrunched at the bottom.

This thread seems productive...

I'm pretty sure ANet will offer Womens' sizes soon, since it is a bit unfair and somewhat sexist (?). Don't fret.

That's assuming said women would... umm... require said additional space over the chest, which a B or A cup could get by without.
